General FAQ 

Q. Where are you located? 

A. Commiskey, Indiana. We are just southeast of Seymour, Indiana, 15 minutes from I-65. We are about an hour and 20 minutes to Indianapolis, one hour to Louisville, and an hour and twenty minutes to Cincinnati. You can find detailed directions here.

Q. What are your hours?

A. We are by appointment only unless we are having a scheduled event found on our events page

Q. Can I come watch your events if I am not participating?

A. Absolutely! We do not have bleachers so you will need to bring your own chairs for viewing. Spectators are considered participants and will fall under the Code of Indiana Act No 1551. Under Indiana Law, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to, or the death of, a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities. 

Arena FAQ

Q. Can we rent your arena outside of posted open riding and practice times?

A. Sure! Times and dates will have to work within our schedule. It is $50/hour up to 3 people during daylight hours, or $60/hour with the lights on. Arena will be drug prior to your arrival. If you set barrels or poles, it is your responsibility to remove them from the arena if they were not already set. Outside instructors/trainers bringing clients to ride need to contact us privately for rates. If you’re needing to try a horse/sell a horse please see below.

Q. Can we try a sale horse at your place? 

A. Absolutely. Anyone bringing a horse for a buyer to try in the arena with no barrels/poles/cattle will fall under our $50/hr or $60/hr with lights rental. If you’re bringing a horse for someone to try on the pattern, it will be $100 and will include water, drag, and access to barrels/poles, and timers set. If you’re needing to use the calf sled, hot heels, or need to run live cattle, please contact us for rates. 

Q. Do you give lessons?

A. Yes, we do give a variety of lessons from beginner up to advanced. Randy and Brittany have experience in a wide variety of disciplines including AQHA all-around events, barrels, roping, ground work, general riding. Lesson spots are limited. Please contact for availability. 

Beef FAQ

Q. Do you sell retail cuts like steaks, roasts, burger etc? 

A. Yes. You may place an order on the website, by text, or by phone. Pickup at the ranch is by appointment only at this time. 

Q. Do you sell bulk beef? Can I buy a 1/4, 1/2, whole?

A. Yes! We have butcher dates throughout the year. Simply contact us to get on the schedule. 

Q. Do you have open store hours?

A. No, we do not. You’re welcome to make an appointment and come pick up what you would like.
